We welcomed Trent Yunus as our new CTO. Trent joins from performance marketing agency twentysix (part of MSQ Partners) as Director of Data Science, recently mentioned in Campaign's Movers and Shakers here.

Trent has over a decade's worth of experience in digital and performance marketing and has led data transformation and analytics enablement projects for clients such as Asda Money, Arla, Corinthia Hotels, Ramsay Health - and various clients in CPG, travel, automotive, retail, e-commerce, luxury and the public sector. 

Trent will be joining to transform and support Digital Voice’s rapid growth by enhancing the agency's data and analytics capabilities and driving innovation through building new proprietary technology.

As CTO, Trent's input will help improve the value we generate from the data we use, enabling us to deliver insightful, joined-up and impactful influencer marketing campaigns for our clients.

What’s next in influencer marketing?

Social media platforms such as TikTok, Youtube and Instagram will become the platforms of choice for searching information online. Video content, coupled with the ability for users to add to the conversation through commenting provides a more immersive search experience than basic links and non-relevant text ads. Google Maps right now is also currently super cluttered - so searching for a place to eat is probably more fun and satisfying using Instagram than Google.

Who is your favourite creator is right now?

‍I mainly follow gaming creators. JackFrags is one of my favourites, although I have to say DrDisrespect is on another level. He doesn't just create videos about games but brings viewers into his world, pushing the boundaries of content creation through highly produced and entertaining videos using a green screen and CGI effects. It's no surprise that he has gained a massive following on Youtube and is now pivoting into creating games. His gaming studio, Midnight Society, is due to launch a new battle-royale style game soon and I can't wait to see how it does as we know he has such high standards!
